I hope all of you will help our dear friend and fellow Club Member, Mickey Christiason, find his tourqoise ‘57 Chevy Nomad that was stolen yesterday from a Body Shop in Bellflower, CA. Keep your eyes pealed for any ‘57 Nomad Parts being sold at the local Swap Meets, Auto Trader or Penny Saver. See Flyer posted at this site. Thank you! -Jerry Mull LACCC President

I bought a 55 hardtop from this idiot in Tenn near knoxville and he put on 2 brand new quarter panels winding up with a 1 inch gap at the top of the door to quarter,So I have to cut these quarters off and refit them so it wont look like a pile of junk.I have a question,If I replace the deck lid, the hood ,2 fenders and 2 inner fenders and the front wind tray with all fiberglass with a total of about 80 pounds total in the panels, how much should the car weigh with everything else stock except the heads, intake, are aluminum. thanks Gary Rose
